ARTISTS ROCK THE HOUSE DURING BUD LIGHT ROCKS THE ‘BOAT CONCERTS

There’s nothing better than seeing your favorite band live in concert, except when that live concert is absolutely FREE! That’s exactly what will take place when the Bud Light Rocks the Boat Concert Series rolls into Steamboat next Saturday, February 16th.

Some of the nation’s biggest bands hit Ski Town, U.S.A.® for a series of free concerts in February, March, and April as Steamboat hosts the 2008 Bud Light Rocks the Boat free concert series in the heart of Gondola Square. This season, Devon Allman’s Honeytribe, Cowboy Mouth, Jeff Austin & Friends, Rusted Root, Ky-mani Marley and the Radiators will grace Steamboat with their high-energy on-stage performances.

“This is an amazing line-up of talented artists,” said Andy Wirth, executive vice president of sales & marketing and chief marketing officer for Intrawest. “This is the ninth season of the Bud Light Rocks the Boat series and, as evidenced by the talented array of artists, it has reached an entirely new level. There isn’t a better way to enjoy an incredible spring outing in the mountains than by combining heaps of Champagne Powder® snow with plenty of sunshine and a free concert by a rockin’ band!”

Sons of rock and reggae royalty, Devon Allman and Ky-Mani Marley, both promise to bring the house down along with crowd favorite Rusted Root, which highlight three out of the six free concerts taking place during the Bud Light Rock the Boat Series between February 16 and April 6, 2008. • Saturday, Feb. 16th--Devon Allman’s Honeytribe
• Saturday, March 1st--Cowboy Mouth
• Saturday, March 8th--Jeff Austin & Friends
• Thursday, March 13th--Rusted Root (special 7pm start)
• Saturday, March 22nd--Ky-Mani Marley
• Sunday, April 6th--The Radiators

The Bud Light Rocks the Boat free concert series is presented by Bud Light and the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation. All concerts begin at 3:00 p.m. in Gondola Square at the base of the Steamboat Ski Resort with the exception of the Rusted Root concert on March 13th, which will start at 7:00 p.m.
