Equipment:
Crampon compatible hard boots are required. Ski boots work great, so if you ski, bring your ski boots (snowboarding boots do not work). We have a selection of ski boots to use as well. Dress warm, as if you were going skiing or snowboarding, with warm, dry gloves and a hat that will fit under a climbing helmet. Don't forget your camera. Crampons, Ice axes, harnesses and backpacks are provided.
Meeting Location:
Times may vary. For ice climbing trips, we can provide transportation from our downtown location (kiosk on the corner of 5th & Lincoln, in front of Mahogany Ridge Restaurant), or climbers can follow in there own vehicles.
Rocky Mountain Ventures can transport 1-4 guests. Parties of 5 or more will need to drive separately or contact us in advance to set up alternate transportation; fees may apply.
Hours:
Trip Times: 8:00am to 12:00pm and 1pm to 5:00pm. Total trip time is approximately 4 hours.
