The name says it all. Gondola Square 34 is a one bedroom plus loft, two bathroom condominium boasting an unbeatable location in the heart of the Mountain Village. The living space is open and airy, offering a large flat screen TV with DVD player and comfortable seating on the sofa and occasional chairs, all which surround the brick fireplace and take in views of the resort, as well as access to the large private deck. The main floor bedroom has two queen beds, a flat screen TV with DVD player and also has access to the deck. Spiral stairs lead to the open loft which has additional bedding separated by a half wall for privacy. A terrific property that's only steps away from all the action.

Loved the location, the view, the huge private balcony, and the ability to take breaks in the condo during the day and get right back out skiing. It was opening weekend with no natural snow, so a conventional ski-in/ski-out would not have worked as well. The underground parking next to the elevator was great. Being Gondola square, it's impossible to get anywhere without going up/down some short staircases, even with the elevator, but that's true of the base area in general even if you aren't staying there. But, keep that in mind if you have a lot of luggage/equipment. Be patient waiting for the hot water, our guess is that it's coming from the basement. Just very comfy and convenient overall, we've already booked a repeat stay.

Gorgeous views

The patio of this condo is large and has incredible views of the ski slopes and Gondola Square. We loved having coffee and drinks outside! The condo is also right by a bus stop for the free bus line that runs through Steamboat, so that was very convenient. The condo itself was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all the appliances and utensils that we needed. The spiral staircase to the loft is steep, so anyone with littles should be aware of that. Our 2.5 year old did just fine, but it made me slightly nervous. Would recommend and would stay again!

This condo is very cozy and comfortable. It is dated but very clean and spacious. The patio is great for little kids to play in snow while you watch from the large windows that overlook the ski mountain. Beautiful view! The location is the best. Steps away from gondola. I would definitely recommend this condo

Great view and location

We were traveling for a conference and the location was perfect. Right in the heart of the gondola area. Everything you could need is within walking distance. The conference was at the Sheraton and you share the pool and workout facility with them, practically out the door. Parking was safe and in a locked garage. You do have to check-in at the Mountain Resorts before. 2 queen beds in master and 2 queen beds in loft. Lots of room for only being a studio w/ loft. Great views out on the patio as well. Amazing and would recommend to anyone visiting.

Great week at Gondola square

This is the 2nd year we have have stayed at Gondola Square. Its always very clean. The untis vary quite a bit. This year we had no washer and dryer in the unit where the last year did. This unit also had no leftover food/spices/coffee/etc and they other had a cabinet full. Just make sure to ask questions about your particular unit. We have stayed twice and will again. Its so close to the slopes and the action. This year they gave us access to the hot tub at the Sheraton and that was great too.

Mountain Running Weekend Get away

I was staying here for 4 nights as I was running the Run Rabbit Run 100 mile trail race over the weekend. I wanted a place for my family and friends. This place did not disappoint. Only negatives are it's a tad dated and a bit of pain to lug ones luggage back and forth from the parking garage. Positives are the location is great! The condo was extremely comfortable. The beds were just as comfortable. The patio is huge and offers up awesome views of the mountain. Would recommend to anyone and would stay here again.

Loved staying at this condo. Everything was working great and it was so convenient. The whole family enjoyed it. Beds were super comfy. I would love to go back and stay here again. Snow would make it much more fun. Checkin was easy and friendly. Great value.
